I can't even find proper details of Asus either. Apparently they just tell you to return it to the supplier.
The trouble is that I bought it second hand from the forum classifieds, and I would have no idea about returning it to Asus. P5K-E BIOS problem - munity discussion forums It appears that a few people have had this problem:

So basically I have concluded that the crabby Asus Update software has completely fadged my motherboard. Anyway, a few hours later I turned the computer back on and it starts for 5second and then restarts, on for 5 sec, restarts (process repeats indefinately). So I got the Asus update loaded up onto the computer, started it and it appeared to be fine, connecting to the internet, finding the new bios file etc, then something beggered up and it then said it had to go back to the original bios instead. Had it running an Intel E2200 fine, but then got an E7200 which ran fine too, but on loading the machine up, it gave a quick warning to say that the bios needed updating as it was an unrecognised CPU, so all its features were not being used, something along those lines anyway.
